PEARL – Neighborhood Material Distribution

The Pearl District in Northwest Portland has an industrial history that underscores the character of the neighborhood. However, one must make the effort to look for these now subtle design influences. Gentrification of the Pearl has introduced the polished materials all to common in wealthy, “revitalized”, urban neighborhoods.
